Hennock Apple Day

An Annual Event Celebrating the English Apple

(Well actually the Hennock Apple, as all Apples used on the day will have been picked the previous week on local Farms and Gardens).

Apple Day will be held on:
Sunday, 1st October 2017 at:

at West Hele Barn and Showground. TQ13 9PP

Apple Day is a much smaller version of our Annual Fayre concentrating on all things Apple.

This years attractions are:

Cider pressing/tasting
Apple Games/Crafts
Local Food and Stalls
Bouncy Castle
Cider bar
Live Music
Apple Cakes/Teas/BBQ

and the

Hennock Bake Off
Bring your entry along by 12 Noon - Judging at 12:30pm.

Adult - Bake a Pudding competition

Bake a pudding made with English Apples
(i.e. Pie, Crumble, tart, etc.) Prize for 1st.

Children’s Competitions

  1. Make an animal from Fruit or Vegetables (Must include Apple)
  2. Country Garden on a Plate.
  3. Make or paint a picture of an Apple - using any materials
    (please put your name and age on the back)

Children's Classes - 3 yrs and under, 4-7 yrs, 8-11 yrs.

Prize for 1st in class

ENTRANCE: is just £2 per Adult, under 16s are free as is parking. Open to the public from 11:00am.

Attendance by Exhibitors is subject to the weather and the organisers cannot guarantee that the Exhibitors as advertised will attend on the day.
